As our 2024 Symposium ‘The Ageing Well Journey: from vision to reality | Ka mua ka muri’ is fast approaching, the team at Ageing Well have released the programme for the event.
At this event in Wellington, we will focus on the achievements of the Challenge over the last decade and the future of ageing in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Day 1
The first day features a mihi whakatau, the keynote presentation from Dr Ganesh Nana, and the first of our themed sessions with the Policy and Advocacy panel.
Following lunch and time for networking, the afternoon session will feature presentations from our Early Career Researchers, our Tiriti Journey story, and the launch of the new Ageing Well book.
Day 2
Day two opens with our theme Māori and Pacific Leadership in Ageing Well Research which features Ageing Well researchers, community researchers, and community partners.
The afternoon kicks off the Health and Wellbeing part of the programme, and ends with the Resilience in Ageing panel that looks towards the future for ageing in Aotearoa.
Please note: the programme is still being refined and there may be amendments.
